Do I have to be flexible to join?

Not at all!
Anyone can improve their flexibility and benefit from our classes, regardless of age, gender, or genetics.
In fact, if you are naturally flexible, you may need to do more strength work to support your natural flexibility to be able to safely access a bigger range of motion.

How often should I stretch?

It depends on your experience level and how much time you can commit to stretching.
Generally, light stretching can be done every day, but dedicated flexibility training should be done 2-3 times a week just like strength training.
However, you can still reap the benefits by practising just once a week.

What should I expect in a typical flexibility class?

Our flexibility classes usually begin with a thorough warm-up, which may consist of light stretches, core conditioning, and myofascial release. The main part of the class typically consists of various static and dynamic stretches, end-range strengthening, and skill-specific drills.
The class ends with practice of each student's skill progression and cool-down, usually with relaxation.

What should I wear to a class?

Comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely, such as leggings or shorts and a fitted top.
Avoid clothing that is too loose or baggy as it can make it difficult for the instructor to see your form and give the right feedback.

What happens if I can’t keep up?

That's okay! The instructor will give different modifications to different students for each exercise.
If you need further modification, let the instructor know and they will accommodate. Don't worry if you can't keep up yet, you will eventually build up enough strength and flexibility to even surpass the exercise you have struggled with before!
